    The location of the library is Esztergom, Hungary. After the renovation of the train station with the integration of the bus terminal, a new central node formed on the southern part of the city. These changes indicated the old bus terminal which is located on the almost 1 kilometre long Simor János Street to become completely barren and loose its once bustling urban hub character.









    According to the program, the main goal of the new urban library is to revitalize this area and create a fresh cultural center for the city. 























    In the project an event space, a reading room, a warehouse, a children’s library, an office, a garden, a research department and other functions were to be located in the new building.
