    The Salón delves into the cultural realm of hair styling as an intimate way of self-expression. The project aims to contribute to the celebration of one’s identity and the freedom of its constant reshaping. The representation of the hairstyle, as the most temporarily changeable part of the human body, is a vital part of the everyday ritual of formulating our image.The designed hairdresser toolkit is free to use for Umprum students, teachers, and friends. The toolkit includes a custom-made mirror, apron, scissors, haircombs, a handmirror and a cape. The system of the hairdresser Salón would operate through the official Umprum website, where clients could book their slots from the hairdressers of the school.By its core Salón would open up possibilities for new informal connections on university grounds.
